Composer Sheridan Seyfried’s melodic, accessible style connects with a wide variety of listeners around the world. Though firmly grounded in classical tradition, it is equally influenced by New Age, Celtic, and folk music.

Seyfried's orchestral, chamber, and solo works have been performed at major venues around the world (including Carnegie Hall) and have been played by musicians including violinists Ray Chen and Ida Kavafian, cellist Jonah Kim, and clarinetist David Shifrin. His Double Concerto for violinists Nikki and Timothy Chooi has been broadcast nationally on American Public Media's Performance Today. Seyfried’s Sextet for clarinet, piano, and strings is also frequently performed, and has been championed by Belgian clarinetist Roeland Hendrikx.

Born in Philadelphia in 1984, Seyfried studied at the Curtis Institute of Music with Richard Danielpour. Upon graduation, he received awards for excellence in both composition and music theory and was appointed to the school's theory faculty.

The 2025 season saw the premiere of his Third Piano Trio, commissioned by Trio Barclay. He is currently the Composer-in-Residence at the Music Society of San Miguel de Allende.
